Limited remote work option, as needed, but must be able to work on-site, in Evansville, IN. TPE Project Manager works with Global Tooling and Automation and OPS groups to provide analytics to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce downtime related to the repair, maintenance, and qualification of Berry assets. This position will assist in the coordination of activities within the CORP TPE group and interface with plant OPS to identify opportunities for operational improvement. Responsibilities Identify and coordinate continuous improvement projects utilizing established methods and formal problem-solving tools. Develop and track operational metrics. Identify and communicate performance improvement opportunities within the business using analytical techniques. Observe, respond, and report any instance of product, service, or quality systems non-conformity. Suggest actions for continual improvement to products, processes, facilities, or systems and verify the implementation of solutions. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels. Document process improvement results after changes are implemented. Provide direction to project teams to implement solutions and meet schedules. Initiate action to prevent occurrences of any non-conformity of product, service, or quality systems. Pause activity and notify Safety lead in any facility regarding instances of potentially unsafe work environments or employee and supplier practices. Use caution and support facility systems to assure safety event free facilities. Respond to any emergency or potential emergency following established procedures. Security diligence: maintain control of key cards, prevent unauthorized entry to facilities by non-Berry employees, and proper maintenance / security of Berry equipment. 25% travel required to other Berry sites, domestically and internationally. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or related field 2 years of experience as Tooling Engineer Project Manager, Lead Engineer, Project Engineer, R&D Engineer, Technical Innovation Manager, Engineering Manager-Bottles or related field.
