Job AnnouncementVisuals Editor, MBN DigitalThe Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a Visuals Editor, MBN Digital to edit and finish videos in the postproduction process at our headquarters in Springfield, VA.The Visuals Editor, MBN Digital produces and edits visual digital content in various formats for several platforms, such as website, mobile app, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter; and deploys graphic elements at both brand and story level. The incumbent creates and implements new templates, formats and visual experiences for social platforms in collaboration with Social Media team.The Visuals Editor, MBN Digital designs and implements consistent graphic treatments that accurately represent the brand. The incumbent covers new areas of visual storytelling and keep adding value to the daily visual output of MBN.Candidates are required to have:* At least a Bachelor Degree in online media, or related field.* A minimum of 5 years work experience for an editorial outlet or reputable brand.* Excellent creative, communication and visual skills.* Proven experience in short-form videos (1 to 7 minutes).* Ability to design for animation (such as GIFs for Instagram & snaps for SnapChat).* Proven experience with the entire Adobe Creative Suite* Advanced visuals editing skills in Adobe Premier.* Demonstrated understanding of social media (i.e. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).* Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule to support 24/7 news environment.MBN is a non-profit grantee of the federal government that directly communicates with the people of the Middle East and North Africa through television, radio, and digital media.
