This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of acquired businesses and implementing effective project plans, while collaborating with various stakeholders and managing project timelines Responsibilities Lead and manage ERP conversion projects and associated application integrations, ensuring successful implementation and integration of acquired businesses. Collaborate with internal IT conversion and project management leads throughout the lifespan of implementation projects. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to achieve successful conversions and integrations of ERP systems and associated applications. Develop and maintain effective communication plans and schedules with business stakeholders, accountability partners, and plant conversion teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance ERP readiness: assist in evaluating potential replacements for our current ERP system and associated bolt on systems. Assessing system requirements, identifying potential risks, and proposing sound strategies for a seamless transition. Drive the design, testing and implementation of possible new ERP solutions. Play a key role in the end-to-end process of designing, testing and rolling out possible new ERP or bolt on solutions. Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth integration, proper testing and timely delivery of key milestones. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a robust Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring the successful management and execution of IT projects, including resource allocation, risk management and timeline adherence. Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, tools and processes within the PMO to enhance efficiency, productivity and communication across the IT department, enabling more effective project planning, execution and delivery. Provide guidance and support to project teams in creating project charters, defining project scope, identifying key milestones, developing project plans to ensure alignment with PMO framework and best practices for successful project delivery. Build and execute training materials, schedules, and processes to support project implementation and user adoption. Ensure network, applications, and support are in place for conversions, collaborating with IT leadership in all areas. Analyze discovery documents and work with key business stakeholders to determine necessary software changes and resource requirements for conversions. Provide ongoing system support for supported applications and ERP modules. Evaluate the readiness of plants implementing ERP systems through constant evaluation, feedback, and metric review. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and communicate effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead project discussions, summarize conversations, and interact with stakeholders at all levels. Experience with system integrations and the ability to manage large projects across different functional teams in an indirect/matrix reporting structure. Ability to work with VP-level executives and interact effectively with IT users. Fearless and confident in handling project challenges and uncertainties. Proficient in activity scheduling and timeline building. Coachable with the potential to grow into a project management leadership role. Ability to take concepts and develop comprehensive project plans. Technical integration experience is highly desirable. Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or willingness to achieve. Experience using Adobe WorkFront project management system. Experience managing projects within a longer (1-2 years) strategic timeframe. Strong technical background and familiarity with system integration technologies.
