Job Details
***ONSITE/Hybrid role***
Bring your expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Design to create and review HVAC system specifications, drawings, and submittals
Design, analyze, and specify process piping systems, various equipment, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems.
Define and implement design concepts, ensure technical accuracy of the work, and ensure overall quality of design documentation
Prepare, review, and approve drawings produced by the Mechanical Engineering team.
Apply vast knowledge of complex mechanical design and HVAC systems to develop new and improved techniques and procedures
Provide consultation to site engineers and business partners
Support development of project cost and schedule estimates.
Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.
The ideal candidate will have:
10-15 years of professional experience in commercial building projects
6 plus years of experience designing mechanical systems for the HVAC space ie. :heating, cooling, chilling, conditioning, controls, building automation and/or water distribution
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related area from an accredited institution
Strong Mechanical design experience - ideally with an A/E and/or MEP engineering firm
