To learn more about Berry, visit PUROSE: The Human Resources Generalist functions as the support person for general human resources related matters. The HR Generalist position is responsible for supporting employee relations, benefits, recruiting, and a variety of other human resources functions. This position will provide support in the planning, analyzing and execution of policies, procedures, and programs in the Augusta, KY manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Manage the recruitment efforts including: reviewing job descriptions, placing job postings on applicable recruitment platforms. Participate in interviews, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications and skills. Coach, counsel and assist supervisors and staff with issues and concerns Participate in planning and execution of employee engagement events and activities Serve as site subject matter expert for HRM systems Onsite contact for all employee benefit inquires Qualifications BS in Human Resources or related field; three to five years' related HR experience; or combination of equivalent education and experience Professional Human Resources Certification a plus. Working knowledge of employment laws, COBRA, FMLA, and related state and federal regulations. Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills. Self-directed and motivated. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
