Job description
Provide Tier 2/3 support to clients for system problems and anomalies
Maintain and secure Windows server security patching and hardening based on Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)
Develop deployment packages, configure firewall rules, and respond to security requests for specific vulnerabilities
Configure Active Directory group policy following industry-standard security practices
Prepare systems for security accreditation
Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux and Solaris operating systems, including patches and service packs
Perform user account, group, and directory maintenance
Manage user and group policies and conduct auditing for the same
Review security, network, and system auditing and address identified issues
Analyze and resolve problems associated with UNIX workstation and server hardware, operating systems, and applications software
Prepare, test, and implement scripts to simplify system tasks for domain core services
Perform backup and recovery procedures using RAID storage devices
Identify and resolve security-related server, workstation, and application issues
Troubleshoot connectivity/network connection issues **Qualifications** 1. Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI read-in within the past 12 months.
2. Immediate family members must also be US Citizens. **Required Skills/Experience**: 1. Redhat Linux
2. UNIX
3. Oracle/Solaris OS
4. WebLogic
5. Active Directory and GPO management
6. STIG/Server hardening and configuration
7. Windows PowerShell scripting
8. WSUS configuration and package deployment
9. System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
10. Windows Deployment Services
11. Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanner
12. Retina scanning
13. Configuring Host-based firewalls/IPS
14. Shell scripting
15. ISCSI
16. HBSS
17. ACAS **Certifications**: 1. Security +
2. MCSE or MCSA
3. Linux Redhat Certification **Education/Experience**: - High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience. **Security Clearance**: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
