Responsibilities: 1. Messaging Architecture Configuration, Troubleshooting & Support:
- Design and configure the Exchange infrastructure to maintain a stable, secure, and highly available email environment.
- Monitor and perform careful maintenance to minimize downtime and outages. 2. Messaging Client Support:
- Maintain a stable, secure, and highly available Microsoft Outlook client environment through configuration, maintenance, and technical support. 3. e-Mail Security Patch Deployment:
- Ensure the Exchange infrastructure meets security standards mandated by Security staff, Chief Information Officer (CIO), or other governing bodies.
- Deploy monthly Microsoft security patches and service packs to all Exchange servers on short notice. Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen, and all immediate family members and household members must also be US Citizens.
- Experience:
- Requires 10 years of technical-related experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing Exchange Architecture.
- Minimum of 6 years of Systems Engineering experience.
- MCSE in messaging and 5 years of relevant experience (OR no certifications and 10 years of relevant experience).
- Experience in managing migrations up to Exchange 2016.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange Server versions 2007-2016, including design, installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, migration, and upgrades to servers.
- Strongly preferred experience in large enterprise environments with 5000+ users.
- Knowledge of Active Directory Architecture and DNS.
- Proficiency in Powershell scripting.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2012 (2008 may be acceptable).
- Experience in managing permissions.
