Join our growing team today: Responsibilities Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities and provide clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations. Oversee the lab and its equipment for product testing. Evaluate and provide proper training for all department personnel. Direct work assignments and ensure efficient labor utilization. Lead cross-functional and problem solving teams to drive process and product improvements. Develop and implement quality standards and assure products meet expectations of our customers. Lead/facilitate, review, and disposition of discrepant materials identified for control of nonconforming product. Establish quality performance metrics and drive issues to true root cause solutions. Audit manufacturing line against released manufacturing processes and procedures. Perform on-site analysis of quality-related issues; lead/perform product containment activities and arrange for disposition and follow daily housekeeping and 5S standards. Qualifications College degree in business, management, manufacturing, or STEM fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Systems in a manufacturing environment. Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership role. Experience in ISO 9001 and SQF preferred. Computer expertise including fluency in all Microsoft Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required (5-10%).
