Video Content Creator and Editor

The Amentum **Video Content Creator and Editor** you will join our experienced graphic design team to create video content that is engaging and will bring our brand to life. If you are a collaborator with artistic sensibilities and relevant video/content experiences - this is the position for you. **This is a hybrid position working both on and offsite.**

You will make content for business groups that span very different types of work, so delivering high quality videos working with a variety of footage and audio styles is a must. Narrative, educational, on-air commercials, social media short form and interview style experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be required to have a working knowledge of best practices, techniques, styles and current trends in regards to video.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Produce both long and short-form videos using Adobe Premiere & After Effects

+ Filming video on set and on location, using professional equipment.

+ Filming includes one-on-one shots, panel discussions, events, and b-roll footage

+ Act as producer/director when needed

+ Edit long-form videos for series production as needed

+ Work closely with Creative Leads to maintain high production value

+ Take notes and direction from Creative Leads to implement feedback quickly

+ Understand and implement best practices for media storage and project organization

+ Manage production calendars and balance deadlines across multiple markets

+ Budget your time to increase video production, while keeping quality high

+ Maintain meticulous records of upcoming projects, videos in progress, and delivered projects

+ Collaborate with colleagues to develop new concepts and ideas

+ Upload and schedule approved videos

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:**

+ Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects

+ Proficient in audio editing and color correction

+ Extraordinary attention to detail, grammar, and spelling

+ Ability to take a project from concept to completion

+ Keen sense of trending content and editing styles throughout digital media

+ Strong storytelling skills for both short and long-form formats

+ Knowledge of post-production techniques

+ Capable of delivering a high volume of content on tight deadlines

+ Comfortable working independently and collaborating with others

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and team

+ Excellent time management skills

+ A positive attitude and the ability to work calmly under pressure

**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:**

+ Bachelors degree in a related field.

+ Three to five years of experience in video content creation, preferably in a corporate organization
