Find your way with Grainger today.Position Details:You will provide financial leadership support to the VP Global Supply Chain and Customer Experience, and the leadership team. You will provide support for financial reporting, and other special projects. You will ensure that your team provides analysis to help the Business leaders understand the drivers of results and Grainger''s financial and strategic goals. Partner with the business and finance leaders on planning/forecasting, actual results and capital projects. You will partner with 3 countries, with approximately 20 distribution centers across North America, $500M OPEX with well over $1Bil in inventory and indirect support of approximately 3,800. You will report to the Vice President, Global Supply Chain and Tech Finance.You Will:Build finance strategy and identify proactive solutions to allow Supply Chain to meet their functional goals.Oversee development of relevant performance dashboards and analytics.Lead monthly and quarterly financial performance review processes.Provide important financial support to the SVP of Global Supply Chain which includes support of Inventory, Transportation, Network Strategy, Distribution Center Operations, Branch Network, Customer Experience, and Order To Cash (OTC) teams across multiple countries.Build strategic relationships to provide increased visibility and insight to Inventory, Transportation, Network Strategy, DC Operations, Branch Network, Customer Experience, and OTC teams across the US, Canada, and Mexico.Analyze over $600M of freight expense for US, Canada, and Mexico. Work with Logistics management in these countries to guide value and productivity through analytics.Monitor the Global Supply Chain capital plan for Network Design totaling $150M-200 per year for the next 5 years (US, Canada, and Mexico) including large, multi-year DC projects.Lead Finance person on Growth & Productivity for Global Supply Chain Operations. Support project activities and financial outcomes.Lead the development of the Annual SG&A plan for Supply Chain totaling over $730M and over $1.6B in inventory. Assess risk and opportunity against the plan.Provide direction and coaching with direct reports and provide constructive feedback to help develop team.Partner with and share best finance practices across North American High Touch Segment regarding Grainger''s Supply Chain group.Work with staff to build development plans.Provide the finance team direction to develop metrics that inform our decisions and ensure accomplishment of agreed upon plans.You Have:Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.10+ years in progressive financial petency in relevant financial skills such as financial and profitability analysis.Broad business knowledge and organizational awareness and an understanding of business profitability drivers.Capability of being strategic (long-term view) and also understanding of business profitability drivers today (short-term awareness).Rewards and Benefits:With benefits starting day one, Grainger is committed to your safety, health and wellbeing.
