Financial Analyst with Security Clearance

Job description

Educational Requirements: Four-year degree required preferably in Accounting General Requirements: Must have a minimum of five plus years of work experience. Security Clearance Preferred Preference will be given to anyone with one or more of the following but not all are required for employment: * Ability to review and analyze technical documents for insights and provide recommendations * Understanding of Intragovernmental transactions (IGT) * United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL), and/or the DoD's Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) * Understanding of federal data standards (e.g. SFIS, FIDS) * Understanding of NFR / CAP processes; ability to provide technical recommendations/solutions as they relate to IGT * Provide project management support (establish meetings, take notes, lead tasks, develop slide decks, send out and track data calls etc..) * Preferable - Worked with G-Invoicing (nice to have if possible) * Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs), Unmatched Transactions (UMTs) * Develop spreadsheets to capture and track all reconciliation initiatives for the purpose of determining scope of tasking and deliverables. Spreadsheets will updated at a minimum on a weekly basis but are expected to be updated as soon as new tasking and initiatives are issued * Prepare and submit documents for the closing of contracts and other reimbursable instruments to the Dormant Account Review-Quarterly (DARQ) Tool or similar program for the purpose of closing the instrument * Historical Document research * Research of financial system database * Prepare Release of Claim letter for contracts and other reimbursable documents. * Provide to the lead contractor data to develop Power Point presentation based on spreadsheets * Review all vendor invoices (submitted and new) for accuracy and completeness for the purpose of closing out contracts and reimbursable instruments on the appropriate federal form * Validate the appropriation cited on the invoices matches the contract or other reimbursable instruments and submit corrective actions if required * Experience with Military Service Lines of Accounting (LoAs) or working knowledge of the DoD's Standard Line of Accounting (SLOA) initiative * Oracle and/or other relevant business software implementation (Federal Government Implementations a plus) * Working knowledge of Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation (FMR), FISO requirements, OMB Circulars, Treasury Financial Manual (TFM), the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL), and/or Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) Benefits medical, dental, 401k, generous vacation policy Job Type: Full-time Salary: $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 /year This Job Is: * A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply Benefits: * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Retirement plan * Paid time off * Flexible schedule Work Location: * One location
