Position Title: Senior Project Manager
Job Location: FBI Locations in Washington, D.C.
Security Clearance Required: Top Secret Clearance Job Overview The Senior Project Manager, in support of the FBI Accounting and Technology Section, analyzes new and complex project-related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and other solution components. Job Responsibilities Lead team on large projects or significant segments of large complex projects.
Provide application systems analysis and programming activities for multiple Government sites and facilities. Manage all aspects of projects, including the preparation of long and short-range plans for necessary support resources. Demonstrate ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans; and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, and secure customer approvals. Assess change requests to determine the impact on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk. Job Requirements Must have Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university or college. The educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has fifteen (15) years or more of experience.
Must have at least ten (10) years of complex project management experience in Government programs, projects, and activities. Must have ten (10) years or more of experience managing all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk) for various types of projects.
Must have eight (8) years or more experience providing written and oral reports to management, customers, and stakeholders regarding the progress of projects. Must have the ability to resolve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
