Job description
LEAD ENGINEER As a Lead Engineer, you will provide direct, daily onsite support to a government customer crucial to national security, while operating in a highly challenging, dynamic team environment. Your responsibilities will require strong problem solving and technical skills to troubleshoot issues in a mostly Linux-based environment. We will provide technical training on additional systems (HPCC, ECL programming) in order to obtain proficiencies in the technologies and systems we provide that are critical to our customer s mission. Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/ full-scope lifestyle polygraph (FSP)
B.S. Degree (M.S. preferred) in Computer Science/MIS, or related discipline
Linux Systems Administration experience Desired Qualifications
Proficiency and versatility in leveraging scripting languages e.g.,: PYTHON, PHP, JAVA, etc.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud technology Responsibilities
Diagnose and solve problems using scripts, maintenance tools, and technical skills
Maintain required service level response and resolution times for all systems
Display initiative and versatility in identifying, learning and developing technical skills
Testing of software and providing technical feedback to customer, 3rd party vendors, and development teams
Work with team members to identify training opportunities and develop training programs or plans based on team objectives
Diagnose performance problems using available performance tools and system indicators
Develop onsite modifications that insure continuous improvement of tools and resources
Take ownership of critical technical issues and develop processes or applications to enhance the team s ability to achieve its goals
